Infrastructure
 
We have complete in-house production facility with full flange testing setup as required by reference standards.
 
Salient features of our infrastructure are as follows.

  15000 sq.ft closed and covered built-up workshop shed with coloured trimix flooring. 1500 sq. ft. Mezzanine floor for office.
Lifts & Shifts (E.O.T. Cranes) :
 
• 20 MT for Power transformer.

• 10 MT for fabrication section.

• 5 MT for Core-coil assembly section

• 2 MT for winding section.
 
Oven Drying Section :
  • Semi automatic oven for distribution transformers.

• Fully automatic vacuum oven for power T/F's up to 25 MVA.
Testing Facility :
  Very well equipped test field & test room to carry out all routine tests & heat run test as per IS 1180 & IS 2026 upto & including 33 kV class.
 
Testing
 
Before declaring a readiness of the transformer for service, it undergoes a series of tests categorised as below -
 
A. ROUTINE TESTS
 
Measurement of insulation resistance of H.Y. & L.Y. windings
Voltage ratio measurement & check of polarities (Phase relationship/vector group).
Winding resistance measurement
No load loss & No load current measurement
Short circuit impedance & load loss measurement
Induced over voltage test
Separate source power frequency withstand test
Di-electric value of oil
 
B. TYPE TESTS / SPECIAL TESTS
 
Temperature rise test / Heat run test
Impulse test*
Dynamic short circuit withstand ability test*
Unbalance current test
Magnetic balance test
Measurement of zero sequence impedance
Measurement of noise level in accordance with IS : 1180 & IS : 2026
